The CSIRO facilities were very entertaining and we had the privilege of touching some stick insects. There were a number of exciting exhibits

On the 30th of June, we visited the Governor General's house. When we got there, we saw the Governor General's backyard. We also saw the Governor General's house and trust me it was huge! When we got inside the house, the ladies there gave us a talk about the rules that we had to follow when we were in the Governor General's house. They also  gave us a video to watch, to know what the Governor General's responsibilities are. After we watched the video we met the Governor General, Peter Cosgrove! We were all amazed to see him in person because he usually does not come out during school tours. Actually, it was a pleasure to meet him because my Grandad fought in Vietnam with Peter Cosgrove himself.  We were all so happy after that visit to the Governor General's house because we got to meet His Excellency. It was absolutely the best day ever!

Questacon was amazing! It was sci-tech on steroids (In the faithful words of Mr Murray)! There were 7 different floors, each exploring a different science subject. We also watched a science show about different types of rockets. The host of the show was so amazing and so funny! But I think we all must agree that one of our favourite things at Questacon was the freefall slide. It is a 6m drop slide where the first 3m is a fall, and you are literally falling! And those brave enough to try it were all lining up for another go! Questacon will probably be the highlight of this trip for most people!
